Sydän24 (“Heart24”) — Regulated Digital Healthcare Platform
Sydän24 (“Heart24”) is a remote cardiac consultation service enabling patients to connect with licensed cardiologists through a secure digital environment integrated with Finland’s national healthcare systems. We designed and delivered the full custom platform, including the regulated patient portal, physician interface, encrypted communication systems, national system integrations, and public service infrastructure. This project required advanced security architecture, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
Context
Wired Health AI Oy set out to build a compliant, nationwide digital cardiac consultation service.
The platform required:
Secure video consultations between patients and cardiologists
Encrypted messaging functionality
Advanced medical intake workflows
Patient-submitted ECG data from wearable devices for clinical review
Direct integration with Finland’s Omakanta system
Independent cybersecurity certification

Secure Patient Environment
Designed and built a login-based portal enabling patients to:

Integrated the system directly with Finland’s Omakanta infrastructure for compliant medical data exchange.
Cybersecurity & Certification
Built to meet regulated healthcare security requirements. The platform underwent independent cybersecurity certification by KPMG.
Public Service Layer
Delivered a public-facing service website directly connected to the core system, displaying real-time doctor availability.
